Single-family house project in Olot

The starting conditioning factor of the project is the topographic regulation which forces the ground floor to be semi-buried below the street level. The functional program is developed in two volumes: the main volume includes the main living areas of the house while the other volume contains the garage and a multipurpose room. The house entrance is in the intersticial space, along with a glass walkway which connects the two volumes and a pergola for outdoor activities. The two alubocond volumes appear closed from the street and get open through panoramic windows to the interior garden, to the sun and to the views.
