New project for FANUC Iberia in Sant Cugat del Vallès

EDETCO will manage the project and construction of the new corporate headquarters for the Japanese multinational FANUC

The project includes the two new buildings on a 25,000 m² plot and the construction works will start during the second trimester of 2021

The Japanese multinational FANUC , dedicated to the design, manufacture and distribution of industrial automation services (mainly robots and numerical control systems) plans to establish the new corporate headquarters in Can Sant Joan business park, developed by INCASOL beside AP7 in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

EDETCO will develop the Project Management and Construction Management role of the project, which includes the construction of an office and services building and an industrial building, representing a sum of approximately 8,000 m² on a 25,000 m² plot. The project, developed by MUR Arquitectura, includes open space areas, training and meeting rooms, a canteen and an auditorium in the service building and a showroom space, workshops and a fitness center in the industrial building.

For this project, FANUC demonstrated an special commitment to the sustainability of the building, environmental issues and the health of the building users, accepting the challenge of obtaining BREEAM Very Good certification and trusting EDETCO to summon up all the energetical requirements derived from it.

With the construction of the new corporate headquarters, FANUC makes a firm intent to its business growth strategy in Can Sant Joan business park, where other large corporations headquarters can be found and where EDETCO carried out several projects, most notably in the Hewleet Packard campus.
